844D High Frequency
The 844D Blind and All-Through Shaft Incremental Encoders mount directly on the monitored axis via a separate collar on the encoder, eliminating the need for mounting plates and flexible couplings. When installing all-through shaft models, the monitored shaft is fully inserted into the encoder, while blind shaft models require only the end of the shaft to be inserted.
842A Multi-Turn Magnetic
The 842A multi-turn magnetic encoder is a 25-bit absolute multi-turn shaft encoder. Provides up to 8192 pulses per turn, or up to 8192 turns. It uses a technology called Synchronous Serial Interface (SSI) to provide 24-bit resolution over just 5 wires. The synchronous serial interface outputs of the 842A encoder can be connected in a number of different ways.
842D DeviceNet Multi-Turn Magnetic
The 842D DeviceNet™ Multi-Turn Magnetic Encoder is a 26-bit absolute multi-turn shaft encoder that connects directly to DeviceNet. This networking feature eliminates the need for dedicated input cards. It connects to the DeviceNet trunk using a five-pin miniature quick splitter. Connect up to 63 842D DeviceNet encoders to a PLC or other logic system via a single network connection.
842E EtherNetIP
The 842E EtherNet/IP™ absolute encoder features dual-port Ethernet and M12 connectors, providing customers with simple, cost-effective installation. Each encoder also includes an embedded Ethernet/IP switch for connecting to other EtherNet/IP-enabled products in the family, or to support device-level rings for Ethernet media redundancy. These encoders offer high performance and reliability in harsh industrial environments.
842E-CM Integrated Motion Control Based on EtherNetIP
The 842E-CM EtherNet/IP™-based integrated motion absolute encoder is ideal for motion control applications that require a feedback-only axis. These encoders support standard motion control instructions set up in the Studio 5000™ Logix Designer application. These encoders provide auxiliary feedback directly over the EtherNet/IP network, eliminating the need for point-to-point wiring. They can be used in a variety of network topologies such as line, ring or star. These encoders utilize the CIP synchronization protocol, a time synchronization extension that is fully compliant with IEEE 1588.
842HR Sine Cosine
The 842HR sine/cosine encoder is a 15-bit serial encoder for high-performance digital servo drive systems requiring absolute feedback for position control and high-resolution incremental feedback for speed control. This encoder integrates communication, speed regulation and position control into one device.
845D single lap
The 845D singleturn is a heavy duty NEMA Type 4 singleturn absolute position encoder that digitizes shaft angular position into one of several absolute code formats. The encoder has a unique digital output for each axis position. It uses a single laser diode and fiber optic assembly to generate a focused beam that passes through an encoded disk and is sensed as an advanced optical signal.
